  Overview

Part of the “New Wave” generation, the Cinémathèque Française was a famous movie archive and repertory theater created by Henri Langlois in 1936. This picture palace, as part of the original Cinémathèque Française, has lost its monopoly of classic movies in the days of Langlois but serious movie buffs should go here in search of that rare movie no longer in circulation.
