  Overview      Inside Tips

Q: What is one “secret” about the Musee d’Orsay?
The front entrance of the Musee d’Orsay on the Rue de la Légion d'Honneur (formerly Rue de Bellechasse) and some temporary exhibition galleries are closed due to renovations. Two temporary entrances have replaced the usual entrance; one is located on the side of the River Seine for individual visitors, and groups with a reservation will use the entrance on the terrace by the side of the Rue de Lille.

Q: How much time will I spend at the Musee d’Orsay?
At least two hours.

The museum will be closed on May 1, 2001
