Overview
La Samaritaine, one of the oldest shops in Paris, is one of the few to stay open late--specifically on Wednesdays. Some merchandise found at Galeries Lafayette can be gotten here at lower prices. There are many bargains, a shop devoted to sportswear and equipment and there are great sales on household goods and furnishings. There is a panoramic view of the Seine from the restaurant.
